Making Change Possible
In 2021, the Georgia Women in Agriculture Association (GWIAA) received a USDA-NIFA grant through the National Women in Agriculture Association. This grant, part of the Beginner Farmer Development Program, has empowered local Georgians through professional development and certifications, including WIC, GAP, and Produce Safety Training. Under the leadership of Program Director Noreen S. Whitehead, producers have gained valuable skills in marketing and community impact. Join GWIAA today and collaborate with us to continue making a difference.
